"This seat is cramped"
2 reviews Robert Watson (Spain)
✅ Trip Verified | This seat is cramped. The pitch is 30-31 inches. The metal support from floor for seat in front is exactly in the space where you would naturally place your right leg, reducing the legroom significantly. I could not imagine siting in this seat for 12 hours, it would be torture. Luckily for me was a quick trip to Bangkok.

"The most uncomfortable seat"
2 reviews Robert Watson (Spain)
✅ Trip Verified | The most uncomfortable seat encountered. Minimal padding, no lumbar support, extremely uncomfortable, for the 6 hour flight to Cairns from Singapore. Don't book, unless you want to be in extreme discomfort, and have back ache for a day or two after. I am 6 ft tall, slim and fit. I booked an exit row seat thinking it would be more comfortable, but the seat has a stub as an arm rest meaning it is about 13 inches wide in practice.

"seat was pretty spacious for me"
Alison SOE. (Indonesia)
✅ Trip Verified | I tried the new A388 business class from London to Singapore. It was about 12-13 hours. My seat was 21K on the upper deck, along with the suites (the old ones used to be in the bottom deck). I think that the seat was pretty spacious for me (I'm 164cm) the footrest was good, but the legroom was to either to your left or right, which makes it quite uncomfortable. But on the SQ regional J class, its a straight legroom, so consider getting a 787-10/359 if you want a straight legroom. The bed couldn't recline fully into a flat bed, unlike the 773,359, the 388 uses buttons to recline the bed, it is done automatically, while the 773/359 is done manually. The table was pretty small compared to the 773/359 (hard to get out of your seat while the table is open) and some tables are also not fully functional, like mine, during landing the table popped back out, I have tried several times to push the table back in, but it just won't fully go in, it would still be loose. The crew was very kind, friendly and welcoming. They kept checking on me, which made me feel weird but happy in a way. I had 2 meals in total on this flight, lunch and supper/dinner. The lunch wasn't my favourite, the scrambled eggs were pretty basic. But the Dinner/supper, I love it, it was steak beef served with mash potatoes and a couple of vegetables, (not book the cook).

"it was very uncomfortable"
Sally Simmonds (New Zealand)
Not Verified | Chose a window seat so I could lean against the pillow and window as I usually do. But due to large gap between seat and arm ready window side it was very uncomfortable. Leg room minimal. I’m 5,5 . It seems new but not well designed. Tray table not adjustable and too close to body.

"Worst business class seat I’ve ever had"
1 reviews T Cayne (Australia)
✅ Trip Verified | Worst business class seat I’ve ever had. Very thin cushioning, not comfortable. Bed cover is not a mattress at all, just a thin piece of material. You can’t lie straight, you have to lie on an angle and rest your legs on the footrest with your feet in a small cavity. Very poor for a business class product, Avoid at all costs.

"Not really comfortable chair"
1 reviews Roland Ziegler (Switzerland)
✅ Trip Verified | Not really comfortable chair or bed. Singapore Airlines offer a proper bed and a separate chair in First Suite: Both are rather disappointing, especially taken into account the huge investment and Publicity. The leather chair stands alone in the middle of the Suite, one has to move it from the take-off position, to the dining position, and to the outside view position. The bed is not facing the direction of travel, but crossways in the suite. The bed is narrow and very hard, not very comfortable. When the bed is not used, it hangs across the suite like a chunk of white painted wood. The whole design is not well thought through and not nicely done.

"design requires you to lie at an angle"
1 reviews S Vayne (United States)
✅ Trip Verified | Worst business class seat I have experienced Automatic seat controls did not work on either the outbound or return flight, so flight attendant assistance was required several times. Same with the center wall divider partition that required attendant assistance to lock it in place for both flights. Seat design requires you to lie at an angle in order to use the foot rest space. Overall, was not impressed with this business class product &.

"3x3x3 configuration is desperately cramped"
D Morden (United Kingdom)
✅ Trip Verified | The 3x3x3 configuration on the A350-900 is desperately cramped. I have short legs but my knees were knocking against the seat in front and the 6 flights comprising my journey from London to Perth and return were spent with a neighbour's elbow poking into my side because of the narrowness of the seat and the armrest. Hard seats compounded the problem. No refresher towels or overnight comfort packs except a skimpy one on the outward leg on SA. Minimal food choice, and what was provided to me was inedible apart.

"My seat (71J) was terrible"
N Muller (United Kingdom)
✅ Trip Verified | My seat (71J) was terrible. There was 2 black boxes fixed under the seat before me leaving me only 60% of the space that my feet would have had if I had been sitting in different row.

"Sleeping configuration is not comfortable"
Jeremy Green (Singapore)
✅ Trip Verified | Seating is very uncomfortable. Sleeping configuration is not comfortable. You need to sleep on an angle sticking your feet in a small hole. The seat is lightly padded. Food is low quality for business class and no longer offers a rich Peranakan mix, but a Chinese bias. Media system resets when any connected device detaches and reattaches. Book the chef food never got loaded.
