✅ Trip Verified | Awful airport. So hot, nowhere to sit, very overcrowded. No sit down restaurant. Just awful. The staff can be very rude, no updates on delays. Avoid if you can.

Not Verified | Check-in desk, 1.5 hours in line, so slow! The staff behind the counter kept walking away while talking to people. When it was finally our turn, she only looked at me after I spoke to her. Our luggage was 5 kilos too heavy and she thought we should pay 65 euros for it. After an exchange of words, this turned out not to be necessary. When asking for directions, the answer is: just look at the signs. After check-in, through the x-ray again and then at the pass check, you have to look into the camera, but no one pays attention to see if you do. I had water and scissors in my luggage and just passed through. All this nonsense left me with 2 minutes to board.

Not Verified | Antalya Airport is so bad. First we went to the gift shop on the 1st floor to buy some gifts for my family, a lady behind the counter starts yelling at me in Turkish only because I misunderstood her (she couldn’t speak english) when to press my pin-code when paying. After security we wanted to buy something to drink, and here is when it gets interesting. 5 euros for a bottle of Fanta 2,5 euros for a bottle of water, 6 euros for a pack of Pringles. Never seen such high prices anywhere, total rip off. Also have to mention that overall, the staff (both shopping staff and security staff) in this Airport does not have any respect for anyone.

Not Verified | Worst airport in the world! Long queues everywhere. No sitting areas. 2 hour delay due to single English people having a bag check, drug test and full body frisk, even babies. No other gate I saw was put through this. I will never travel to Turkey again due to the disgraceful lack of respect in this airport.

✅ Trip Verified | As of early morning of May 8, the queuing time are ok and the staff are friendly. We quickly handed the luggage in, passed the passport control and security. The main issue is the waiting area around the gates. It’s cramped, it’s dirty and the loudspeaker is very noisy - hell, it feels like it’s hanging right above you wherever you go. And of course people are late all the time, so you learn all of their names thanks to this speaker. Overall it’s an old airport that is not very pleasant

Not Verified | Quite possibly the worst airport I have ever used. Check in is actually quite easy, as is security, the duty free is good, and the shops seem to be good too, the main issue is getting to your gate. As this terminal is round and the gates on the diameter you queue into the food hall thus causing blockages and hassle for everyone trying to get around the terminal, this isn't the worst bit, not by a long shot. Having gone through security (twice already) the gate staff almost strip search you, empty your hand luggage, and I do mean empty, make you taker any electrical equipment out of any protected cases, swab you down and run a drug check on you. In August of 2022 they separated men and women into 2 queues and fully frisked you, intimately, This part is so poor it might stop me going to a country that I really like.

✅ Trip Verified | Very small and not fit for the amount of visitors it needs to cater for. Poor air ventilation, smell of cigarettes, not enough seats. People sit everywhere on the floor, there is no space to move around without stepping on other passengers. This airport reminds more of a refugee camp than international airport. Huge improvements are needed here.

Not Verified | Utterly chaotic! Talk about making an already unpleasant process worse. As you enter the airport your bags are x-rayed. Then to check-in which can only be described as tortourously slow. Up the escalators for passport control. Then another x-ray check of your hand luggage. My luggage scales caused concern! Finally through to departure gates, another random check put in place at our gate. Perfect time to grab a very stupidly over priced culinary delight, or so we thought. We were final called for absolutely no apparent reason. Left the food queue to join a 70+ strong departure gate queue. We were not late, we had not delayed the departure, we were just in yet another random check queue for 20 minutes. Air travel from this airport would seriously make me consider visiting Turkey. Deeply unpleasant, slow, overcrowded, stressful and for absolutely no apparent reason!

✅ Trip Verified | I don't recommend this airport. Departing the international terminal, it's so expensive you will laugh. One burger king meal 15 Euros. Coke from the vending machine 4 Euros.

Not Verified | Outdated airport. It looked like they did not pay a lot of attention on the baggage checks. Check in etc. went smooth though. This airport and its restaurants/food is expensive. I'm used to paying extra at an airport, but this airport feels like a big scam. Prices for food and drinks are almost double compared to (for example) Schiphol Amsterdam. the Quality of the food does not come close to the paid price. I feel robbed after buying some coffee and 2 sandwiches here.
