✅ Trip Verified | Very Nice Airport. So smooth for a transit. Free WiFi, clean washrooms, sufficient food courts and cafes, water fountains for drinking waters, wonderful ambience, enough duty free shops, lots of options. Very clean and vibrant ambience

✅ Trip Verified | The worst airport WIFI, for an otherwise good and transit hub. Very slow generally, parts of this review website functionally are being blocked, and can’t install an eSIM because they too are blocked.

✅ Trip Verified | Good Airport to transit. Nice view and very clean airport I’ve visited. Good numbers of shopping areas around the airport and nice view of garden as well. Would visit this airport again.

✅ Trip Verified | Hamad airport is one of the best airports I have ever seen as a building. However, the transport of passengers to/from terminal and airplanes is the worst. You wait a long time for the bus. They gather passengers at the gate and inside bus like sardines after checking boarding passes, drive to airplane takes around 20 to 25 minutes. This could be largely due to construction. But it is not an excuse. For me we waited for 30 min for the second bus to take us to the airplane and another 20 min drive to airplane. The gate counter attendants have no regards they just want passengers enter the small gate area after checking boarding passes. I would not recommend this airport.

✅ Trip Verified | I have been a loyal customer of Qatar Airways and have always admired the exceptional level of service provided by both the airline and the airports. However, my most recent experience has left me disheartened. Due to my health issues, I rely on a wheelchair for assistance during my travels. When I booked my air ticket for my recent trip, I made a request for a wheelchair, the service I received upon my arrival at Hamad International Airport did not meet the high standards I have come to expect. Initially, I was provided with a wheelchair upon disembarking from the aircraft. However, I was then transferred to a buggy, which dropped me off at a certain point. At that stage, I requested a wheelchair again as the distance to the car park was considerable but staff refused my request.

✅ Trip Verified | The best airport I have been to in the Middle East. Bright, spacious, easy to find your way around. plenty of shops for all tastes and budgets. I liked the art works spread around the airport. My only suggestion is that the directional signs to the metro station should be clearer and more visible. It was hard to find the entrance to the metro station walkway, due to the lack of signs.

✅ Trip Verified |  The lounges are nice and a lot of luxury shopping but I never seem to have time to visit because often the aircraft arrives in remote stand with endless ride to terminal and the departure may also be a bus ride away. They also use Boarding on screens to make people to head to gates long before boarding actually starts. Last night I came to the bus gate when the screen was saying “Final call” but still had to wait for the bus. Toilets were quite messy due to the number of passengers. Four transits within 2 months via DOH is more than I can stand.

✅ Trip Verified | You’ll spend 30 minutes looking at a video board with 6 screens but needs 10 for all the flights. Staff are extremely courteous but not enough screens to show all flights.

✅ Trip Verified | Very pleased with Doha Airport travelling as a Transit passenger on the outbound from Manchester, UK and on return from SYD, Australia in April 2023. A very well laid out airport with lots of seating by comparison to the new T2 Terminal at Manchester, UK which is our most un-favourite airport terminal building. Transit was very easy in both directions. Bags of choice at the Duty Free, although we only needed cigarettes on our return transit for the person who keeps an eye on our property when we travel. The airport was clean. Toilets clean and manned by staff each time. Good signage. Small security checks made during both of our transit visits, taking a minimum amount of time. Passengers are boarded by Zone numbers (printed on the Boarding Pass) on Qatar Airways flights. Our transfer time was 3 hours in each direction so on the outbound part of our trip, we headed off to seek out The Gardens, which we loved. Duty Free prices in QR (Qatari Riyal) or USD.

✅ Trip Verified | Normally I am very happy on this airport, this time it was not well arranged. When boarding, the zones 1,2,3,4 where not used. Instead everybody was just standing before the gate, nobody from the Qatar Airways was telling how to do. Then for some reason they decided to let some people pass the line. And then the bus was not arranged, so we had to wait very long for the bus. Hopefully next time will be much better. Especially the boarding with different zones.
